Multiple media reports have both the Jets and Giants talking to former Steelers QB Russell Wilson. The New York Giants are looking for a veteran quarterback now that free agency has opened, with Russell Wilson and Aaron Rodgers being two of the names they are getting linked to.

Wilson took a step towards making a decision on Wednesday when it was revealed that he has scheduled a visit with the Cleveland Browns for later this week. The Giants have been in contact with his agent about their interest.

According to NFL Insider Ian Rapoport, the Giants could also schedule a visit with Wilson after he takes a trip to Cleveland. However, that could be contingent on whether or not Rodgers has decided where he will play football in 2025.

“While the Giants wait for Aaron Rodgers, expect a visit with Russell Wilson as well this week (unless Rodgers makes a decision),” Rapoport said on X. Wilson proved he still has a bit of gas left in the tank, throwing for 2,482 yards and 16 touchdowns over 11 games with the Pittsburgh Steelers and a spot in the AFC Playoffs.
