Last time we saw the Yankees they were watching the Dodgers celebrate the winning of the 2024 World Series. Fast forward to Tampa February 2025 and there have been plenty of changes to the roster since Juan Soto left for the Mets. So, the Bronx Bombers remain the favorites to return to the World Series in 2025.
YES, and WFAN will be in Tampa for total coverage of the Yankees as they get ready to defend their American League Championship against all commers. The YES Network crew of Michael Kay, Ken Singleton, and John Flaherty will once again be joined by analysts Paul O’Neill and David Cone.
They will start their coverage on Feb. 21st when they will open Spring Training against the Tampa Rays. It will be the first of broadcast 24 spring training games on the YES Network and the Gotham Sports App. Be sure to check out the Gotham Sports because they will have some exclusive games on the app.
On WFAN radio Yankees radio will have a new lead voice in 2025, as longtime Seattle Mariners play-by-play announcer Dave Sims will take over for the retired legend John Sterling. Sims is coming home where he was one of the first personalities at WFAN, plus being the voice of Big East basketball, and the NFL on Westwood One radio.
