The Princeton Football Team has announced it 2025 schedule. Some top returners include rising seniors Marco Scarano (second-team All-Ivy), Nasir Hill (second-team All-Ivy) and rising junior Chase Christopher (honorable mention All-Ivy).
Scarano was one of the most disruptive defensive players in the league last year as he ranked third in tackles (8.4 per game) and second in tackles for loss (1.1) in Ivy League games. Hill finished fourth on the team with 59 tackles while Christopher led Princeton and ranked seventh in the Ivy League with 7.2 tackles per game.
The Tigers begin the 2025 season vs. the San Diego Toreros at Powers Field on Sept. 20. The Toreros won eight games in 2024 and finished in second place in the Pioneer League.

The 2024 FCS Quarterfinalist Mercer Bears make the trip to Princeton to finish off the non-conference portion of the campaign (Oct. 11). The Tigers head back on the road to continue Ivy action at Brown (Oct. 18).
2024 Ivy tri-champion Harvard comes to Powers Field on Oct. 25 before two more road battles at Cornell (Nov. 1) and tri-champion Dartmouth (Nov. 8).
The home finale wraps up with tri-champion Yale (Nov. 15) while regular season concludes at Penn (Nov. 22).

Following a year-long process initiated by the Ivy League’s Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC), the Ivy League Council of Presidents has approved a proposal to participate in the NCAA Division I Football Championship Subdivision (FCS) playoffs beginning in the 2025 season. Over the next several months, the league will develop tiebreakers to determine how its automatic qualifier will be awarded when there are co-champions in the future.
